CONTINUOUS LEARNING PLAN (CLP)
DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC
APRIL 2020
KEEPING OUR STUDENTS CONNECTED TO SCHOOL DURING
PANDEMIC
Capt. William’s School officially moved to online learning due
to Covid-19 pandemic from April 2020 session onwards.
The school is successful in enforcing 100 percent participation
from the students.
Our Continuous Learning Plan (CLP) is designed in a manner
that it meets the requirements from the Central Board of
School Education (CBSE). The plan is designed to keep the
student engagement intact and aims to provide new learning
experiences to students and offer them multiple opportunities
as well as the teachers to engage with one another through
learning and socio-emotional connections. It is expected that
the parents, students and teachers will play a big role in
implementing the plan and make it a complete success.

INTRODUCTION
Capt. William’s School is fully committed to support students,
parents and staff during this unprecedented time of school
closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I would whole-heartedly
like to thank the following members of our CWS staff who have
worked tirelessly despite many personal problems arising out
because of the pandemic. These people’s unending support to
create Continuous Learning Plan representing the various areas
of learning students in CWS received during a regular academic
day is something which the school can be proud of. The
members of CWS Continuous Learning Task Force includes:
- Mrs Reshma Chetry – Vice Principal
- Mr Jayanta Das – TGT
- Mr Monowar Hussain Choudhury – TGT
- Miss Suchitra Newar – TGT
- Mr Biswajit Chakraborty – TGT
The CWS CLP intends to help and support students, parents and
teachers in the provision of voluntary educational experiences
during the closure of school. The plan involves flexibility for
parents by offering 5 half-days of instruction per week.
Implementation of this plan requires collaboration and support,
flexibility and communication among staff, students and
parents. It is however known to all that students, teachers and
parents will have to face a variety of challenges during the period of pandemic, but if all stakeholders work hard unitedly,
then the plan will achieve 100% success.
The CLP is a structured approach which will be implemented
from April 2020 and will continue until physical classes
resumes.
